A Fiction Writer’s Take on Online Distractions and Productivity

For him, and I’m sure for many other writers, having online access available all the time proves to be an asset rather than a hindrance.
I’ve posted before about the time we spend on other things rather than writing in How Are You Spending Your Blogging or Writing Time? and I’m convinced it’s important to be aware of and frequently examine how we spend our time. If there are a lot of online time-wasters in your daily life, then maybe it’s time to limit some of those activities. At the same time, though, make sure you don’t eliminate those valuable online resources.
