I found a new blog that has some really good tips for beginning web writers. It’s geared mostly toward Windows users, but most of the advice is applicable regardless of your OS. The gist of it is that you should keep things simple and develop good habits in your web writing.
Too many people out there try to get too fancy with things and shoot themselves in the foot. If you inadvertantly make it difficult for your readers to read or navigate your blog, they will leave and probably not come back. Check it out.

I wouldn’t say that I’m geared towards Windows users, more that I end up complaining about it a lot whenever I use it.
I work with unix on a daily basis, I just don’t have as much to complain about.
LOL. I know the feeling. I’m a recent Apple convert myself. I use both Windows and Unix at work, though, and I know what you mean about the Windows frustrations. If I could sum it up in a nutshell, I’d say Windows is a jack of all trades, but a master of none…
