Jaro, I remember reading that interview and thinking that it really didn't say much about how they approved sites. I do believe that there is some basic criteria involving the age of the site and the number of links, of course. Since Patrick mentioned Alexa, I'm sure that traffic has some part in the equation, too. They accepted a 'dead' blog of mine that hasn't seen any posting activity in 3 months, but they haven't accepted Blogging Blog.
