There have been many heated discussions on the topic of Pay Per Post lately. If you haven’t heard of it, yet, this is a business that has you write an article about a certain product or service that they select. You post this article on your own blog and then submit it to Pay Per Post. If they approve your post, you are then paid a small amount of money.

Most of the controversy surrounds the question of whether the fact that a post is being paid for should be disclosed to readers. Many people also have strong opinions about the impact of being paid to post on the credibility of a blogger. This would honestly be my foremost concern. The amount of money isn’t much. It seems to be something like $5-10 per post. What do you think?

P.S. Problogger weighs in on the issue in this post and you can read what WordPress guru Matt thinks about it.

I personally believ that Pay Per Post is a grt revolutionary idea l but if done the following:

Dont promote a bad 9run of the mill product) for any Damn price.

Promote product or servcie which you yourself truly agree / like or will use.

Its like if I personally like Diptyque candles and I each time I try it I fall in love with authentic fragrance then why not share it with friends / close network and os on

same applies to gizmos, spas, mobile content and all of it, most Imp thing here is Be Honest, Promote Good stuff and you will never lose face or audience.

That’s a good view of it. Of course it’s going to be subjective, but I’m sure there are blogs where Pay Per Post will work out. Thanks for dropping by, Mehul.
