As for my name: Unfortunately, it's just 'Ray' and not 'Raymond' so I don't have too much choice unless I want to go with something like "The Teacher/Blogger/Writer formerly known as Ray." P.S. Just imagine having a name like mine. Imagine how it gets sliced and diced until you can't recognize it anymore. As time has gone on I've given up on correcting people on how to say it correctly unless they are genuinely interested. You might consider using the name Raymond instead of the nickname.
