FreshBlogger Has Been Around For 90 Days
Published December 1st, 2006 in SEO/Traffic/Links, blogging, blogsYesterday was the 3 month anniversary of this blog. I don’t know that this is exactly a momentous occasion, but a lot has happened in this time and I feel that it’s worth noting. During these past 3 months, I’ve added more than 80 posts, had numerous comments, and made contact with a lot of great people.
My old blog at Blogger.com was getting something like 10-15 uniques a day when I moved to my own domain here at FreshBlogger. After only a short time, the number of visitors rose quite a bit and now it’s been some time since I’ve had a day with fewer than one hundred uniques. The month of November has ended with 2300 unique visitors listed by my hosting statistics page.
This is great news for me. My intention with this blog was always to make connections with other people out there in the blogging world and this is exactly what’s been happening. I’m looking forward to expanding my traffic over the next three months and meeting even more interesting people and spreading the word about their blogging ventures. Thanks to all of you who have stopped by my blog and especially those who’ve been kind enough to leave comments and participate in the discussion.

Congratulations on your 90 day anniversary, you are well on your way to success!
As you noted on another blog, one of the key ways to get readership is to create or participate in a Blog Carnival.
We recently started the “Carnival of eBay Sellers” and are finding it bringing us many new readers. I suggest you look into your own Carnival, or joining an existing one.

Carnival of eBay Sellers
Thanks, Tom. With the recent jump I’ve had in search engine traffic and adsense earnings, it’s starting to seem like I’m getting somewhere.
It’s funny you mention the blog carnivals because I’ve been looking for some to get involved in. I haven’t done a blog carnival yet, but I have participated in a couple of ProBlogger’s group writing projects. I’ve always gotten a ton of traffic from them, too.
Thanks for stopping by and good luck with your own carnival. I’m going to be checking it out.
