That's a great tip. I've noticed that if I don't get started on my blog post first thing in the morning, I get totally sidetracked by everything else. It gets way too hard to focus on what I wanted to write about with all those other distractions. Sometimes, though, if I need an idea to write about, I'll browse around for a little bit to get some ideas and maybe find something to link to. Hey Hart. That’s a great tip. It's easy to get lost in the links, and also off tangent. One of the best tips I read somewhere (can't remember where though) when you are ready to blog .. do it in the morning, before you check your email and bloglines .. and it's true - before you get lost catching up on the posts and email comments etc. Because, as we all know - by the time you reach the bottom of the list - it has already refreshed at the top of the list, and there's more links to waste time reading!
