I’ve just added an email subscription service to FreshBlogger. There is now a little box in the right hand sidebar that you can put your email address into and receive updates to this blog on a daily basis. Don’t worry; I won’t spam you. The only thing you’ll get from me is updates to this blog.
Since my RSS and Atom feeds for this blog are already handled by FeedBurner, it was incredibly simple to add the email subscription functionality. If you’re interested in making it easier for readers to read your blog, sign up for FeedBurner’s free services. There are premium plans available for a fee, but I haven’t had any use for any of that yet. It only takes a few minutes to get started with their easy to follow instructions.
On a side note: I like to use services and web sites that are easy to navigate and have easy to follow instructions to use their services. If I have to spend an hour figuring it out, most times it’s simply not worth the effort. Web pages in general should only take a few moments to figure out where you are and where the information you want or need is. There are far too many time wasters out there already.
