Reaching 200 Posts on This Blog
Published January 5th, 2007 in blogging, blogsYes, I’m cheating a bit since I imported around 90 posts from my old Blogger blog, but, still, I’ve managed to post 200 articles since the end of last January. Considering all of the ups and downs and all of the things that I’ve been busy with in the last year, I feel pretty good about this. In the next year, I hope to post even more consistently and up this number considerably. I’m still putting together a list of things I’d like to accomplish in 2007 and I’d like to more thoroughly recap 2006, but for now I’m happy to have reached this small milestone.
Very impressive Ray - that’s a heck of a milestone to reach, at least in my book. I know some bloggers bang out 4-5 posts a day , which is what, 1200+ a year? But for regular folks like you and me, who have jobs and families, 200 is very solid indeed.
Thanks, Leroy. Yeah, you’re right about that. Blogging really is hard work in a lot of ways.
I think if I could knock out that many decent posts a day, though, I could kick up my traffic and earnings quite a bit. Maybe I just need more discipline. It’s something to ponder as I figure out what I’m going to focus on this year…

Thanks, Madhur. It feels pretty good to have gotten to this point. It’s amazing how the internet can allow you to start from virtually nothing with very little or no money and then build something substantial in a short time. It’s a great time we live in.
Yeah well done Ray - (I know I cheated a bit with importing from Blogger!). Actually that reminds me to look at that post you wrote and do the redirect from my old site.
