Yes, there’s already another release of WordPress that was just announced yesterday. It’s only been a couple of weeks since I upgraded to WordPress 2.1, so I’m not really eager to do it again, but it usually only takes a few minutes, though, and it’s relatively painless.
This release is mostly just a bugfix and security release and they are calling it a “low-to-medium priority update recommended for all WordPress users.” According to the release notes there are about 30 bugfixes included. I haven’t really noticed any major bugs in 2.1 yet. It seems to be the most stable and fast version of WordPress I’ve ever used. Regardless, I’ll be installing the latest update in the next couple of weeks and if you’re a WordPress user, you should probably do the same.
