As an example you could easily use PPC to drive traffic to a squeeze page paying just $0.10 per click (or less) for many blogs, and a 40% signup rate if you give an incentive.

1000 subscribers = $250

10000 subscribers and you would be looked on as an A lister in most niches - wow, for just $2500
