I found another cool blog with this post: How to Leave Work at Home. I love the name of the blog: Dumb Little Man. It kind of puts things in perspective in a way to read some pretty profound things on a blog with a name like this.

The article itself contains some really good tips on how to dump all the crap that we tend to bring home from work. The crap I’m talking about is the stress, frustration, anger, whatever, that we have failed to unload from our brain before leaving or at least before arriving home. The tips are simple, straightforward, and very useful if you find this to be a problem

I think there’s a broader issue here that could be addressed in another post: How to Compartmentalize. Sure, it’s a good idea to leave work at work, but how many times do you find yourself wishing you were somewhere else? Or, you may simply be thinking about something else rather than the task at hand. That task, the here and now, might be working on a tough project at your day job, at home talking with a spouse or child, or it could be a night out with the guys or girls. Why aren’t you 100% there? Any thoughts on this question?
