Marketing & SEO Blogs - Blog Top Sites

I’ve closed the AdBrite Survey that’s been up in the right sidebar for about six weeks now. Even though there were only a total of 23 votes this time, the results seem to be fairly representative of what I’ve been hearing from other AdBrite users.

About 74% of those running AdBrite ads on their websites or blogs are only making less than $10 per month. I was in that category myself before I finally decided to give up. The next largest category was of those who are making more than $100 per month. This was only 17%, though. There were a couple of other votes, too: one in the $10 - $20 range and another in the $21 - $50 range.

So, are these results meaningful in any way? To be honest, I’m not sure. I think you have to have pretty significant traffic in order to make good money with AdBrite. Either that, or you have to have a well-defined niche. Of course, these are the basic requirements for making money on a website or blog at all. It just seems that the way AdBrite works makes these factors even more important.

Even though it hasn’t worked out that well for me, if you’re looking to give AdBrite a try, go for it. There are probably other ways to get it to work well for you and obviously some of you have figured it out. Be sure to drop me a line and let me know what works, though. I’d love to hear about it.
