I stumble upon a site that try to suggest improvement to your blog. But somehow I can't remember where. Anyway this is really a good post and you have excellent content. I will add you to my RSS and MyBlogLog community.

Thanks, Bruce. I always try to balance ads and content. Right now, actually, I'm thinking the ads are getting a little out of hand here and I should probably cut back a bit.

It <em>does</em> sort of feel like I'm doing something I shouldn't be doing when I'm networking; I always feel a little guilty, like I should be writing a post. Now I think I haven't been spending nearly enough time networking!

I agree with Tisha... your blog really does look great! As an Adsense publisher myself, I must compliment you on the way you have stylishly blended your ads in with the overall theme of your blog.

Now, as for "blogging and networking"...

Well, considering I include networking and bookmarking as an integral part of my blogging SEO, I do far too much of both!

Hi Tisha, thanks for the feedback. Your and Lord Matt's comments are really useful to me in figuring out how I should be spending my time on this blog. I was thinking 50/50, but now 80/20 or 70/30 marketing/writing sounds more effective. Thanks again!

Hi Lord Matt. That's an interesting breakdown of your time. When I first started blogging, I thought most of my time should be spent on writing content, even though networking was one of the reasons I started my first blog. As time went by I realized that networking was something that required more time. Now, I'm really starting to think that the majority of time should definitely be spent on networking. I'll check out the guest blogging link, too. Thanks for the great comment!

P.S. I haven't heard of anyone else getting an error, but I'll see if I can find if there's a problem. Thanks!

Your blog look is fantabulous!

marketing no matter what business you're in is the bulk of the work. Like you said if you have great content but no one reads it well blimey you can just close shop!

I would say that I work 30% on content unless I'm doing a research post (which requires a lot more time) and 70% networking and marketing BUT it doesn't feel like a chore since I visit other people's blogs I enjoy and there's a snowball effect. Of course mine is a personal blog and I just have fun!

much success!

Oh... got an eror message.

Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/freshblo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/subscribe-to-comments.php on line 438

Looks like the subscribe plug-in has a bug.
