I’ve heard lots of success stories from other bloggers who’ve done the same thing and gotten a pretty good response. I want to try it out myself as an experiment and report back on my own results. I’ll post again after a few weeks to let you know what kind of interest there’s been.
If you’re interested in trying out advertising on other blogs, this will be an inexpensive way to get started. I’m keeping the pricing pretty low to begin with and everything’s negotiable, of course. Text links are what I’ve been thinking at this point, but if you’d like to discuss banner or button type ads, let me know.

Hi Josh. Thanks for the encouragement. I haven’t given up on TLA yet, but I’m puzzled as to why it’s taking so long for my blog to get found. I see people with less traffic and lower rankings who have already sold several links. I’m going to have to explore the idea of directly soliciting advertisers. Thanks for commenting!
I found you through bumpzee so I’m sure more and more people will start finding you and giving you some advertising time. Maybe try and call out the fact that you have a PR5 and a good alexa rank – that should sell more links. If all else fails maybe try reviewme.

Hi Mike. That’s awesome! I’m not quite sure yet how to make the most of bumpzee, but I’ve had some good success with other social networking sites. I think the trick for me will be getting the first advertisers to take a chance on this site. Once that happens, others will come. Thanks for your comment!
