Hi Valentin. I’m most concerned about just getting interesting content to keep this blog going. I’m not as worried about SEO. I think it will be great to have some fresh ideas and fresh voices here. I’m feeling a little overworked and stale at the moment and reader input will give freshblogger a much needed infusion. If you have an idea for a post, let me know…

Ray, if you`ll ask me, I wont use readers`s article.

Better something from somewhere else, without fear from seo revenge. Ut takes ages and REPEATING duplicate content to getSE output (negative as well as positive). As you are higkly ranked enough, any now and then eventually duplicate content will be rather ignored.

Even more, is a trend to allow similar (close to identical) articles while “I love you” may be said in max ~ 300 ways, then after would be .. duplicate for the rest of humans up to 6,000,000,000 …

But more .. you can have someone HIRED to make 3-6 posts / month , brand new and targeted …
Or use the stright-under-my-picture contact form to send you a lot of articles and how to use it without no fear from s.e. …

Hi Nia, I haven’t heard of that site yet, but I’ll check it out. I don’t think I want to use any article sites, though, because the of the potential negative impact on SEO and also because I like to provide good, fresh content. Thanks for the suggestions!

Hi,

Will your blog self-desruct if there’s a significant break in transmission. I would like to do a post on Internet access or lack thereof. I haven’t researched or written up as yet, but it would run along these lines:

In the past week, Pandora the online radio station, has barred access to all IPs outside the USA.

Venezuela’s oldest TV station, Caracas TV has been taken off the air and replaced with a new shiny government controlled one. I am waiting to see if there is a trend of shutting things off in Venezuela.

Fiji’s military has blocked access to Web ites that contained slurs and lies against the army and members of the interim government.

The good news is that Steve Jobs and Bill Gates got together in an interview (30 May 2007) and spoke about the old 14K cassette tapes they invented.
