Dude you’re wrong, Flee The Cube does *not* DoFollow comment author links. Whether they changed since you posted this, I don’t know. But if you check now, they have rel=”external nofollow” on author links.

If you had tagged me, I doubt I would have seen it among all the links I seem to get daily, mainly from all the memes I haven’t actually taken part in.

The best way to find Dofollow blogs?

Just search in Google for dofollow plus any keyword, you get thousands

The alternative is just to join my Dofollow community on Bumpzee as that will eventually bring some traffic, and give plenty of links especially if you tag your content.

Hi Nathan. That’s awesome about how you found my blog! I don’t think there’s anything unethical about it all. If you’d left a comment that didn’t add value to the discussion, then that would be another story. As it is, you’ve raised a very good question that I’m sure others will be interested in.

As for getting to the top of the search engines for shark fishing, getting links from other blogs will help, but you’ll get the most bang for your buck in getting links from other fishing type blogs. The best links are going to be the most relevant ones. They’ll be linking with words like “shark fishing” and “sharks” and “fishing” that will help you rank higher for those keywords. Ideally, the topics of those blogs will be similar to your topic, too.

After John’s post yesterday on how to use the top commentators plugin to your advantage I figured that finding a list of blogs that use the DoFollow plugin could help SEO rankings. I did a quick search on google and your blog happened to be at the top and gave me exactly the list I was looking for.

Now is there anything unethical about what I’ve done here? Obviously I’m trying to build links to rank at the top of the SERPs for shark fishing. Look forward to hearing how you feel about this.
