Creative Writing and Blogging
Published August 3rd, 2007 in blogging, blogs, creativity, my storiesIf you’ve been reading FreshBlogger for a while now, you’ll know that I originally began blogging as an exercise for my creative writing. At the time, I was writing short stories and also had two novels partially completed. After a few months, the focus of my blogging shifted away from creative writing to the techniques and skills surrounding blogging.
Recently, I’ve gotten more interested in working on my creative writing again. I’m planning on renewing my efforts in that direction and also posting some samples on FreshBlogger, as I did in my last post, The Wonder of Baking Bread. Some of you probably thought I was becoming unhinged, I’m sure.
Don’t worry. I’m still mostly sane. I think. Regardless, I hope that you will find the creative writing posts to be entertaining and interesting. I’ll continue posting on the same things that I always have, too. There will be more to come on blogging, writing, personal development, and, of course, making money.
Feel free to give me some feedback, as well. It’s hard for us to grow as writers and bloggers without some sort of measure of how we’re doing, how we’re progressing. Also, how many of you write creatively, whether it’s on your blog or offline? Have you gotten anything published? As always, leave a comment or drop me a line on my contact page.
