Hi Andrea. There was such a big stink about this a few months ago. The big division seemed to be between the purists and mercenaries, but there were also many in between who thought it was OK, but only as long as certain conditions were met, i.e. disclosure.

I read your post and it's interesting that the CTR is so high. I would agree that that tends to indicate that readers do find at least some sponsored posts valuable. Really, though, it's up to the blogger to make them valuable. Thanks for your kind words and your insightful comment!

Hello...I'm with you on this one. I've been hearing so much about sponsored posts lately. Some bloggers actually make you feel bad for including sponsored posts on your blog. Your post confirms...it's okay to make money...
I just posted a review regarding PPP's survey stating the findings of CTR on sponsored posts. I hadn't realized the CTR was so high on the average.
My personal findings are that my sponsored posts do provide valuable content and get clicked on more than any other form of advertising with positive comments added. That says something, right?
Ive enjoyed reading your blog and the many, many tips and information you provide. Thanks.
