Exactly! The combo works for me...I think I'm a couple of weeks, maybe more between posts at the moment but there is no way I want to give up my blog because I like the domain name too much! How's that for a reason to keep going? I'll get some guest bloggers if I can and use this as a chance to shift direction, and also get back to my aviation oriented blog! Thanks for the inspiration guys!

Another thing you can do is take some of your old articles and bump them up to cover the days that you have missed! ;-)

Seriously, I think taking a break is fine and no reason needs to be given. Blogging should be fun, not some arduous chore we can't set aside from time to time.

Speaking about blogs where bloggers have stopped their blogging, I would prefer that these bloggers hang up a note explaining what is going on. Some of the blogs I follow haven't been updated in months, so I can only assume they have quit blogging. While this is their decision, it would be a kind gesture to let people who stop by know if they are planning to reactivate their blog.
