FreshBlogger Carnival of Personal Development #2

Welcome to the second edition of the FreshBlogger Carnival of Personal Development. Thanks to all who have submitted articles for this week’s carnival as well as the last one. It’s been an extremely busy couple of weeks for me and I haven’t been able to put as much time into reviewing and responding to every submission, but from what I’ve seen already, we have some great articles.

I’ll be writing a follow up post in the next few days and planning where to go from here with the whole Blog Carnival thing.

Welcome to the March 28, 2011 edition of carnival of self improvement.

They can, however, be converted into positive energy because minimal amounts of them are not necessarily bad. They spurn you into action. It is only when it is not controlled that it becomes destructive to a person’s health and happiness. It can cause depression and a whole lot of physical ailments. While stress can’t be completely avoided, it can be effectively managed.“When we share laughter, there’s twice the fun; when we share success, we’ve surpassed what we’ve done. When we share problems, there’s half the pain; when we share tears, a rainbow follows rain; when we share dreams, they become more real; when we share secrets, it’s our hearts we reveal.”-”

I do agree with this article as more and more workers are just working hard so that they can also pay for their private student loan faster. But even if people are busy, they should also give themselves a break so that they can breathe and relax from all the complexity of life.

  5. It is indeed a must that people get to relax after a long day of work. If they do not, they could end up getting stressed out. I can attest to that because there was a time wherein I was working straight for about a week. A day prior to my day off, I got really sick and I didn’t even notice it. It was weird though, but I realized it was because of over fatigue. Let us all allow ourselves to have a break once in a while. It’s good for us anyway.

  6. Great blog, but I would make full use of AdSense if I were you, any reason why you only use two ad units? You are entitled to three ad units plus three link units, total of six, your CTR could drastically increase.

Hi Ryan – Thanks for the kind words. I’ve found on through a lot of research and experience that I get more clicks on fewer ads in general. I’ve tried to achieve a balance between content and advertising that allows me to get a decent CTR with quality ads for a relatively low traffic blog without being too obtrusive. I would tend to opt for less rather than more advertisement. Thanks for stopping by!
